Garcé Dimofski is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Porto and Lisbon, Portugal, founded by Olivier Garcé and Clio Dimofski.

Across residential interiors, hospitality projects, bespoke furniture, and curated works, the studio follows a material-driven, architectural approach. Architecture forms the foundation of every project, informing every scale, from spatial composition and structural logic to custom furniture and collectible pieces. Forms are reduced to their essence. Proportions are precisely measured. Atmospheres are shaped through balance, light, and tactility.

The result is interiors and objects designed to endure, spaces that privilege structure, craft, and material intelligence, conceived to remain relevant across time and use.

  • Olivier Garcé and Clio Dimofski bring complementary experience from some of the world's most rigorous design environments. Olivier trained at Hamonic + Masson & Associés in Paris before joining Pierre Yovanovitch's studio in New York as an interior design director. Clio worked at Shigeru Ban Architects in Paris, then alongside Olivier at Pierre Yovanovitch New York. Together, they founded Garcé Dimofski in Lisbon in 2021 — a studio built on the conviction that architecture, interior design, and craftsmanship belong in continuous dialogue.

The studio operates across four interconnected practices: architectural and interior projects for private residences, hospitality venues, and exhibition spaces; the Essentials, a core furniture and lighting collection produced in close collaboration with Portuguese artisans; the Gallery, a curated selection of collectible works by contemporary designers; and a growing body of sculptural Artworks created in dialogue with galleries and makers internationally.

  • Every Garcé Dimofski project is rooted in the materials of its place. In Portugal, that means chestnut, pine, and cork — worked by hand by local carpenters and cabinetmakers. It means ceramics shaped in collaboration with Portuguese potters, stone sourced from regional quarries, and metalwork finished by artisans in Porto and Lisbon.

This commitment to local craftsmanship is not nostalgic. It is practical, precise, and deeply considered — a belief that the best luxury is material honesty, and that objects made slowly and well outlast everything else.

  • The studio works with three types of clients:

Private residences — homeowners seeking a considered, long-term approach to their home, from full architectural renovation to interior design, bespoke furniture, and art curation.

Hospitality & commercial — boutique hotels, restaurants, and gallery spaces where atmosphere, material quality, and spatial identity are central to the guest experience.

Collectors & institutions — individuals and organisations seeking curated works, limited edition furniture pieces, or collaborative design projects with the studio and its network of Portuguese and international makers.

Each project is taken on personally by Olivier and Clio, with no delegation of creative direction. The studio accepts a limited number of commissions each year to ensure the full attention of the founding duo on every project.

Enquiries are welcome from clients in Portugal and internationally.
