The Checkmate Chair is carved as much as it is formed, a composition of voids and matter where light passes through and reshapes its presence throughout the day.

Its silhouette feels almost accidental, resisting symmetry and embracing a raw, instinctive geometry. The textured surface holds the trace of the hand, grounding the piece in a tactile, almost archaic sensibility.

Between weight and absence, structure and erosion, the chair exists as more than a seat, a sculptural pause within the room.
